Coaching & Mentoring

How does it work?

A coach or mentor serves as your trusted co-pilot, guiding and supporting you on your journey towards your next destination.

Our sessions typically last 60 minutes and are conducted via Zoom. While our meetings are structured, I'm also accessible via email to assist you with any challenges or questions that arise between sessions.

If you're ready to embark on this coaching journey, simply schedule a free session below, and I'll provide you with all the necessary details to begin.

What will we talk about? I'm not really sure what to expect.

Each coaching relationship is unique, and tailored to address your specific needs and priorities. A crucial initial step is identifying your goals and aspirations, and setting the foundation for our collaborative journey.

Here are some examples of topics we've explored in previous sessions:

  • Addressing feelings of career stagnation.

  • Transitioning from Manager to Senior Manager.

  • Crafting a strategic 6-12 Month Road Map.

  • Navigating difficult conversations with grace and purpose.

  • Cultivating your personal brand for greater impact.

  • Guidance on requesting a promotion or salary increase.

  • Developing a promotion proposal for your team.

  • Overcoming imposter syndrome.

  • Creating a comprehensive onboarding plan for new leaders.

Why work with David?

With over a decade of experience in leadership roles within various tech organizations, I've traversed a remarkable journey from an Engineer to a Director. Throughout this trajectory, I've accumulated profound insights and wisdom, often learning from my own mistakes.

My leadership path has seen me adeptly manage large global teams while also manoeuvring through the dynamic landscapes of smaller, fast-paced startups. Unlike many career coaches, I bring a wealth of practical experience, as I am actively engaged in the tech industry. This means that when you work with me, you're not just gaining a coach; you're accessing a mentor and trusted advisor deeply rooted in the realities of today's tech landscape.
